Hello & Goodbye

29 Jan, 2019 | Return|
We would like to say a big "welcome" to Naomi Chapman who has joined us as Event Coordinator and General Administration Manager with effect from 1st January 2019 to take over the role undertaken by Dave Skinner who left us on the 25th January to take up a role within the NHS Safeguarding team. The good news is Naomi has been working with us part time for some months, mainly helping Dave in getting out the PSA results as quickly as we can.ee3a2fd4-38ab-4336-9ecd-023d093fd49bNaomi has been known to me personally for over five years now, she was a Warwick Branch manager for a National Leisure Company who I personally headhunted 3 years ago, initially to help Clare in the Accountancy Practice I'm associated to. Whilst working full time in this role, Naomi also took on large quantities of work on behalf of the charity on a regular basis whenever asked and always in her own time, either very late into an evening or over weekends and holiday periods. This demonstrated to me her tremendous work ethic, this coupled with the experience she had already gained meant that when the vacancy arose, I had no hesitation in asking Naomi to take up this new role.Naomi is 29 years old, lives in Coventry. She can be contacted by email at infogfct@gmail.com or by phone on 019264 19559.It's goodbye to Dave Skinner who's been with us for 19 months during which time he has played a key role in helping the Charity develop its IT and GDPR systems, at a time of significant growth. We sent out a record 28,000 results in 2018 for example! We wish him well in his new role with the NHS for whom we've no doubt he'll prove a valuable staff addition.Dave and Naomi have worked have worked very well and hard together in the transition period for which I thank them both sincerely.Graham FulfordFounder and Trustee
