Mr. Alan Doherty is widely regarded as one of the UK's leading experts in prostate cancer treatment. He has performed over 3,000 prostatectomies, making him one of the most experienced surgeons in the country. He is particularly known for his skill in nerve-sparing techniques, which help reduce the chances of erectile dysfunction and incontinence following prostate surgery. Mr. Doherty has published numerous studies on these procedures and was named one of the UK's top ten prostate cancer specialists in a 2018 national survey of consultant urologists, featured in the Daily Mail.
