You may have seen recent publicity about the increased deaths from a number of other causes during the Covid pandemic because of the delays in early diagnosis. Deaths from Prostate Cancer is up there with all the rest... with an increase of up to 53% being quoted. If that's right this could lead to an extra 6,500 deaths or so on an annualised basis.
