The Graham Fulford Charity Trust is delighted to announce that Scott Minto will be its first ever ambassador.
Scott is one of the UK’s most accomplished broadcasters. An ex-player and FA Cup winner with Chelsea, Benfica, West Ham, Charlton and Rotherham, Scott played at the highest level of club football in the Premier League and UEFA Champions League, with over 400 professional appearances.
Scott has worked with the biggest and best broadcasters in world football. Within his broadcasting career Scott has worked with Sky Sports, the BBC, talkSPORT, TNT SPORT, Astro Super Sport Malaysia, Optus Australia, and Premier League Productions. Engaging with fans is at the heart of Scott’s career also with an audience of over 26,800 on his social media channels.
The high profile of Scott and respect he has within broadcasting for his professionalism, expertise and natural communication skills makes him the perfect person to be an ambassador for the prostate cancer charity.
Since its launch in 2004, GFCT has worked tirelessly to raise awareness of prostate cancer amongst men and making PSA prostate cancer tests readily available to men aged 40 and over. Twenty years later and over 266,000 tests have been carried out on 131,984 men, resulting in 2,870 known cancers being identified that otherwise may not have been discovered.
GFCT is looking forward to working with Scott to help promote the work of the charity and reach a wide audience of men to raise the awareness of prostate cancer and encourage men to take a PSA test.
