Sign a petition to make prostate cancer screening a national priority

31 Mar, 2024 | Return|

Enough is enough.

UK charity Prostate Cancer Research have launched a nationwide petition calling on major political parties to include a commitment to prostate cancer screening in their manifestos.

Every year over 13,000 men die of prostate cancer - that's one every 40 minutes. This is a national tragedy. But it doesn’t need to be this way. If prostate cancer is caught early, it is almost always curable.

Right now, Labour and the Conservatives are busy finalising their manifestos, deciding what to include, and what not to include, if they win the next election. We need to tell them that it is time they take prostate cancer seriously.

Will you sign Prostate Cancer Research’s petition and help make prostate cancer screening a national priority?

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Having spoken to them at length yesterday Cancer Research UK asked if we could help with the promotion of their petition. As you are aware Graham Fulford Charitable Trust (GFCT) have been involved with PSA testing for 20 years, we have conducted over 300,000 tests and found around 3,000 cancers.

We are passionate about seeing change and heartily support Cancer Research UK in their efforts to achieve a National Screening Programme.

Please ask your wives, family, and friends to support this initiative.

It is not a requirement of the petition that you make a donation to Prostate Cancer Research and you will see there is an option in the donation section “no thanks” just tick this box. There is also a tick box option not to receive any further communication from PCR if you so choose.
