We are delighted to announce that Steve Beard has joined us at GFCT as a Trustee with effect from 10th October. 

Steve has been a supporter of the charity since 2004 and was active in promoting PSA testing in Atherstone in 2007/8. He brings a wide range of experience to the charity from his years as a businessman running his own successful buildings access company which required an in depth knowledge of health and safety requirements. 

He has also been involved in the community as a former Seniors Captain of Atherstone Golf Club. Perhaps even more importantly, he is a survivor of bowel cancer, giving him an immense perspective of the impact that cancer can have on the lives of individuals and their families.
