Exciting New 3-Way Offer for NHS Hospitals

24 Sep, 2025 | Return|

We’re delighted to announce a collaboration between GFCT Treatment Support, Vista Health (part of the InHealth Group), and Aqua Medical to provide NHS hospitals with a range of cost-effective and flexible options for MRI scans, ongoing biopsies or a mixture of both as outlined in the attached summary document.

What’s on Offer

  • Mobile MRI Scanning Unit
    • Available at current NHS tariffs: £149 (non-contrast) and £273 (contrast).
    • Consecutive bookings of 2–4 days on hospital premises.
    • Capacity of up to 20 scans per day to help reduce backlogs.
    • No long-term commitment required.
    • Frees up existing scanner time for other patients.
  • One-Stop Biopsy Package
    • Includes BK Medical bkSpecto Ultrasound System, biopsy chair, and stirrups.
    • £42,000 outright purchase or £1,300/month on a 3-year rental plan.
    • Designed to help clear bottlenecks following scans.
  • Combined Scan & Biopsy “One Stop” Solution
    • £400 for a bi-parametric (non-contrast) scan and biopsy.
    • £500 for a multi-parametric (contrast) scan and biopsy.
    • Leaves a margin of £250–£350 for other hospital costs, even against reduced NHS biopsy tariffs.

These options give hospitals the flexibility to reduce waiting lists, speed up diagnosis, and ease pressure on existing resources. The key benefits of these offerings are little to no long-term contractual commitments, and pricing that aligns with current NHS tariffs. In many cases, the cost structure not only ensures full coverage but may also generate a surplus, even despite recent reductions in biopsy tariffs.

Please feel free to share this with any NHS hospital who could benefit from one or more of these options.
