Update: Graham’s Journey with Prostate Cancer
Graham Fulford, founder of GFCT and GFCT Treatment Support, was diagnosed with prostate cancer early this year. An update from Graham:
I have received my latest PSA result within 24 hours of giving the sample - the NHS at its best! At 2.1, it's slightly down compared to May's result of 2.4. Interestingly, the supporting notes say that the reporting level for me is 6.6 based on age related guidelines, reissued on 25th April. As my PSA level has been historically low, it's not conclusive in itself, but at least it's not bad news! The kidney function test that was carried out at the same time, as a requirement of my upcoming follow up MRI scan, has also comeback as normal meaning it's onwards and upwards until 4th November. Watch this space!
